"I own and operate Chain O'Lakes Property Service. We maintain high-end homes along the lake shores in the Elk Rapids area. We put a standing seam metal roof on a 70-square roof with complicated roof lines and a cupola. We have used the SAMM mats for a year and a half now on this roof. It makes maintenance of painting and chimney cleaning so much easier over a ladder laid on the roof off scaffolding. While window cleaning, a little water doesn't bother the use of them.
I would recommend to anyone going up on a steel roof to use them with a harness and lanyard or without. It's just better footing."
